Description
What is RFID? -- Radio Frequency Identification, a technology that can read data from targets without contact.
What is NFC? -- Near Field Communication, a technology that can read data from targets without touching them.
Why is it not safe on our bank cards? -- Nowadays, credit cards, passports, identity cards and the like all have RFID chips or use NFC technology.
Both RFID and NFC chips can easily be read by anyone with a simple device (e.g. a smartphone), even from a distance. All sensitive information contained within the chips can easily be read and stolen.
This special credit card case blocks the signal, preventing the external reader from reading the information in the RFID and NFC chips.
