By plugging this USB-C device into a smartphone, laptop or tablet, you 'trick' it into thinking there is an external microphone attached to it.
As a result, it will mute the existing internal microphones, but as there is no real microphone attached, the device will become deaf.

This USB-C device attaches to the USB-C input of your devices and when connected, it automatically becomes the main 'microphone' of the device, preventing others from listening.... however, it is NOT a microphone.
This 'tricks' the operating system (Android or iOS) which, believing that there is a microphone, deactivates the phone's actual internal microphones, rendering the device 'deaf'.
It works with all USB-C compatible devices such as laptops, desktop computers, mobile phones and tablets.
